I hope you take some time to explore this blog.  There are pages located in the top bar that will give you some great information about our classroom.  Check out the “Class List” page to see if you can find a few friends you might already know.  The “School Supply List” will tell you everything you need to purchase for your child for the school year.  And the “Summer Before Kindergarten” page will give you some ideas of things you can already start working on to help prepare your child for kindergarten.

Kindergarten Open House will be on Monday, August 29 at 6:30 PM.  This will be a night for you to meet the teacher, the principal, and learn some valuable information about our school and classroom.  Your child may also bring in his/her school supplies this night so that he/she doesn’t have to carry a load on his/her first day of school.  Please just place all the items in a grocery bag labeled with his/her name.  That way I won’t forget who brought them.

I would LOVE for you to email me a picture of your kindergarten child if possible.  Remember to include his/her name on the picture with the correct spelling.  That way I can learn what your child looks like and all about his/her name before seeing him/her at Open House.  My email address is hlepard@hpseagles.net
